Tahlia
Head of curriculum
With a foundation as a Health & PE teacher, I completed my Pilates Method training in 2018 and discovered how much I love the supportive and at times incredibly challenging nature of Pilates. I believe Pilates is deeply personal, you can make it completely your own, choosing how to challenge yourself, focusing on the corrections that work best for you, and growing at your pace.
I have a passion for the clinical side of Pilates, working in one-on-one sessions or small groups, I provide the individualised attention that allows you space to feel and connect with your body. My favourite format is Mat Pilates and Yin Reformer, where we slow things down, create awareness and nurture the mind–body connection.
I love the community and group energy that comes from teaching Pilates, building connection with people and seeing the change in people’s bodies, empowering them to move with strength and confidence.
If you’re on the path to becoming a Pilates instructor, you’re in the right place, I’m here to walk alongside you in your training journey, sharing my love of Pilates and teaching experience so you feel confident, grounded and ready to teach. I love being part of your growth as an instructor, guiding you to find your voice, refine your teaching style and join the movement of strong, thoughtful Pilates Instructors.
Tracy
Trainer and Assessor
Tracy is a Diploma qualified APMA (Australian Pilates Method Association) Pilates Practitioner. Tracy started her Pilates training and practice in late 2003 when Pilates was relatively ‘unknown’ and not as popular as it is today. She worked with a range of people with a variety of pathologies. Her focus was to help support people with injuries to safely rehabilitate as well as assisting people needing or wanting sport conditioning.
Having a break from Pilates in 2007, she pursued other interests in Personal Training (Cert IV in Fitness), Health Coaching (Institute of Integrative nutrition and Heal Thy Self Academy) and Life Coaching. During this time, she attained her Cert IV in Training and Assessment where she was a Lead Trainer for a Govt organisation for 9 years. She then returned to Pilates in 2019 when her own health was threatened with a cancer diagnosis. This led her to dive deeply into the causes of stress and methods to manage stress, anxiety and worry as well as its impact on the body and health. It allowed her the opportunity to also pursue a certificate in Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Training which she practices on a daily basis for herself and with her clients in wellness workshops. She has run wellness retreats and workshops through incorporating the Pilates practice, Meditation and Mobility and Stretching. Tracy also works as a Trainer and Assessor in First Aid whilst teaching Pilates.
She is a passionate Pilates, movement, meditation and holistic health enthusiast, and wellness advocate with a preventative and holistic approach. She believes in nurturing both the mind and body through movement, meditation and a healthy lifestyle
